Mary Jayne's Story
After High School, started working for the Dept of Def (Army) as a civilian. Moved to Las Vegas, NV with parents in Oct 77. Met my husband, Jim, in Jun 78 who was in the Air Force. Married in Jan 79 in Las Vegas. Our first son, Brian was born Mar 81. Jim & I were transferred to Madrid, Spain in Sep 82. Our second son, Thomas, was born Mar 83. Transferred to Spokane, WA in Nov 86. Transferred back to Las Vegas, NV in Aug 87. My Dad passed away in Aug 87 and my Mom passed in Dec 89. Jim retired from the Air Force in Jun 92. he government. Both of my boys are still in Rome, married, and I have 2 granddaughters and 3 grandsons at present. I currently am eligible for retirement in Dec 2010 after 33 years of service with the government. Jim and I are finally experiencing the empty nest after 1 son moved back once and the other son moved back twice plus they both brought extras when they moved back in. In fact, we are still rearranging from the last "visit" since they just moved out end of May 09. Jim and I have been married 30 years and still going strong. We love to travel and spend time together.
